BioYngona Desmond was raised to value both Celtic folklore and Theosophy. For over 35 years she has lived, studied, and taught a mystical and spiritual lifestyle. Independently, she has been a student and practitioner of yogic traditions since childhood.
Her dedication to Heathen esoterica is found, among other places, in 'Thuleheim: A Knowledge Base', a collection of occult lore from the Northern European, pre-Christian traditions, that she maintains with fellow soulcrafter Garrick Cartwright. And in her groundbreaking book, 'Voluspa: Seidhr as Wyrd Consciousness'

Desmond is a spiritual traveler and sacred pilgrim, having traversed much of Europe - from Finland to Italy - visiting and honoring sacred sites. By actively monitoring Ley-lines, chanting to re-tune and re-align ancient stones, assisting local Guardians with energy clean-up, and reconnecting in a non-invasive manner with primal and ancestral energies, she lives intimately in the flow of those deep and mystical currents that course across our planet.
In 2005 she was the guest of two Saami noiade families. This opportunity for culture and tradition sharing culminated in her participation in a sacred bear hunt and recognition of her seidhr abilities among the Saami noiade.
She maintains the oldest, most active and most academic Internet list on the subject of traditional Heathen esoterica, known as 'Nine Worlds'. As Thule, or “wise man, sage, god inspired”, she actively advises others on matters of Heathen Lore, Law and spiritual concerns.
Unwaveringly, she lives in many realms simultaneously. Having never been Christian, her worldview is unique in that she brings a deeply rooted connectedness and profound sense of understanding to the seemingly impenetrable depths of Heathen mysticism and seidhr philosophy.
At her husband’s side - Tim and Yngona are the Lord and Lady of Heimat Hof, the only hof in the Southlands, or southeastern Vinland. Heimat Hof is a stand-alone structure that is home to BogaTyr Sippe (the oldest active kindred in the Southlands), and Hoddmimir Holt (a sacred learning center for the mystic / magic arts).
